Mostly Infrared Devices are installed only by Setup Process or when an user starts his/her computer/pc after installing or attaching a serial infrared transceiver to a serial port or com port or to a USB port.

The Add Hardware Wizard appears asking is there any hardware connected?? Have you already connected the hardware to the computer?? Since you have already connected, Mark Yes, I have already connected the hardware, and then click Next. Add a new hardware device and then click next.
Add hardware Wizard Shows you the wizard can help you install other hardware.This Wizard can search for the other hardware and automatically install it for the user or if an user knows exactly which hardware model he wants to install he can select it from the list.Now You just click Install the hardware that I manually select from a list, and then click Next.
There Will be a List Mentioned below,you have to select the type of hardware you are installing.If you do not see the hardware category you want.Click Show all Devices.
Select Infrared Devices and then Click Next.
Select Infrared Device Which you want install.Click the infrared Device that matches your Hardware and then click OK.If you do not have an installation disk for the infrared device, under Manufacturer, click the manufacturer, under Infrared Device, click the infrared device, and then click Next. If you have an installation disk for the component click have disk.
After Clicking Have Disk insert the disk, click Next, and then follow any additional instructions to install the device.
The Wizard will be ready to install your device,Click Next select the serial port to which your infrared device is attached, and then click Next.
