The Longest Bridge in the world is Danyang–Kunshan Grand Bridge of 164.8 kilometres long located on the rail line between Shanghai and Nanjing in East China’s Jiangsu province. It Runs parallel to the Yangtze River, about 5 to 50 miles to its south. The Construction work of the bridge was started in 2006 and completed in 2010 . The Bridge got successfully opened in June 30. 2011.
