Jericho Diamond Mine

This diamond mine is located in Canada's Nunavut territory, the first and only diamond mine in Nunavut. Jericho Diamond Mine was opened in 2006 and in 2008 it was closed. The diamond mine was owned by shear Diamonds Ltd.The Mine produced 375,000 carats weighing 75 Kg of worth CAN $25 million in 2 years.

 

Snap Lake Diamond Mine

This Diamond Mine is located in northwest territories of Canada.Snap Lake Diamond Mine was opened in 2007 and it is owned by De Beers. They used to produce 1.1 million tonnes of ore annually.

 

Victory Diamond Mine

This Diamond mine is the first Canadian Diamond mine of Canada in Ontario. This Canadian diamond is also owned by De Beers, opened in 2008. Victory diamond mine is the second diamond mine for De Beers in Canada. They used to produce 2.7 million tonnes annually (600,000 carrots).

 

Diavik Diamond Mine

This Diamond mine is located in Northwest territories of Canada. Diavik Diamond Mine was opened in 2003, owned by Harry Winston Diamond Corporation and Diavik Diamond Mines Inc.

 

EKATI Diamond Mine

This diamond mine is also located in Northwest territories of Canada. The EKATI Diamond Mine was opened in 1998 by joint owners of BHP Billiton, Charles E. Fipke, Stewart Blusson. This diamond mine produces 7.5 million carats diamond weighing 1,500 annually.

 

Gahcho Kué Diamond Project

This Diamond mine is located in Northwest Territories on the Canadian tundra. This diamond mine project was started in 2004 and this is owned by two owners , Mountain Province Diamonds Inc. and De Beers Canada.
